Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Mighty Moo Media LLC, doing business as IDProt ("IDProt", "we", "us"), uses cookies, pixels, browser storage, and similar technologies on idprot.com and the IDProt app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to the use of these technologies as described here, subject to the choices below.

1. What These Technologies Are

  • Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser.
  • Local and session storage let a website save information in your browser, similar to cookies, but it is not sent with every request.
  • Pixels (also called tags) are small pieces of code that tell a provider when a page is viewed or an action is completed.

2. What We Use and Why

Strictly necessary — required for the Service to work; these cannot be switched off:

  • Scan and progress storage (browser storage): remembers the email you scanned, your results, and where you are in the sign-up flow.
  • App sign-in (browser storage): keeps you securely signed in to the IDProt app.
  • Checkout and fraud prevention (Stripe cookies): processes your payment securely and helps detect fraud. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Offer timer (browser storage): remembers when a limited-time price started.

Functional — remember your choices:

  • Saves which fixes and security steps you marked complete, and your checklist progress.

Advertising and measurement:

  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.): records page views, checkout starts, and purchases so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may set cookies such as _fbp and _fbc and may combine this data with information it already has about you. Some events are also sent from our server and may include a hashed (scrambled) email address. See Meta's policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

We do not use cookies to collect your card number, and we do not sell cookie data for money.

3. How Long They Last

  • Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Local storage remains until you clear it or sign out.
  • Stripe cookies generally last up to 1 year.
  • Meta's _fbp cookie generally lasts 90 days.

4. Your Choices and How to Opt Out

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor GPC. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, our Meta Pixel does not load on your device. Browsers such as Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Firefox (with the setting on) support GPC.
  • Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop scans, checkout, or the app from working.
  • Meta ad settings: control ads based on your activity at facebook.com/adpreferences and accountscenter.facebook.com.
  • Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.
  • Email request: email idprothelp@gmail.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" and we will stop sending your purchase events to advertising partners.

5. Do Not Track

There is no common industry standard for older "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we do not respond to them. We do respond to Global Privacy Control as described above.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the technologies we use. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
