IDProt, operated by Mighty Moo Media LLC, provides data-breach scanning, exposure monitoring, security guidance, and data-broker removal tools to help you reduce your risk online. Please read the following limits carefully.

Scan results come from third-party sources

Scans check your email address against publicly available breach-intelligence services. These sources are not complete, may contain errors, and may be temporarily unavailable. A result showing no exposures does not mean your information has never been exposed, and a listed breach may not include every data type that was affected.

Risk levels are guidance

Risk labels (High, Medium, Low) and protection scores are our general assessment to help you prioritize. They are not a guarantee of safety or a prediction that harm will occur. Your protection score is based on the steps you mark as complete, which we do not independently verify.

No guarantee against identity theft

IDProt is not identity-theft insurance, a credit bureau, a credit-monitoring or credit-repair service, a law firm, or a government agency. We cannot prevent all fraud or identity theft. If you believe you are a victim, visit IdentityTheft.gov and contact your bank and local law enforcement.

Security guidance is educational

Fix instructions and security tips are general information. Third-party websites change their settings and processes, and you are responsible for the actions you take on your own accounts. Following our guidance does not remove your data from a breach that has already happened.

Data-broker removals

Removal requests depend on each data broker's own policies and response times. Brokers may refuse, delay, or later re-list information. Requests shown as queued have not yet been submitted, and a site marked done by you has not been verified by us. We do not guarantee that any listing will be removed or stay removed.
